Stirling Engine Generator Model - smartkeep

Stirling Engine Generator Model

A Stirling engine is a heat engine that operates by cyclic compression and expansion of air or other gas (the working fluid) at different temperatures, such that there is a net conversion of heat energy to mechanical work. This engine is similar to a steam engine in that all of the engine's heat flows in and out through the engine wall.

Simply place the provided heat source underneath the compression tube, and watch the engine do it's magic. The generator can be hooked up to a USB socket, or any other power adapter, turning the engine to one of the coolest cellphone chargers around!

This would make an excellent present or an educational tool.
